OUR NEXT EVENT: Thursday, February 5; 7:00 pm  Details here.

This Wiki is to convey and share information about WBUR's monthly social media gatherings. These events were conceived as a means to draw those riding the social media wave together with the old guard to explore ways we may learn from and challenge each other, the aim being to improve our respective crafts.

All fellow travelers are welcome, from social media superstars to bloggers big and small. Non-profit or corporate; professional and amateur. Writers, marketers, journalists, public radio enthusiasts, web developers of every stripe, or heck, those simply with a hankering to get an inside look at a major National Public Radio radio station, are welcome to attend.

To date our events have been loosely structured, conversationally-rich and participant driven.  With time, greater structure, focus and specific projects may emerge. This is all entirely dependent on the group's energy and inclinations.

For those not in the know, WBUR is a major source of news and information in New England and one of the country's pre-eminent public radio stations. Find us  at wbur.org or while in Boston, tune you radio dial to 90.9 FM.
